Digital Environment

  • The theme of the year was once again blockchain. We also had a Bitcoin paper wallet in our Punkomat in front of the Linzer Stadtwerkstatt and the Museum of Modern Art in Vienna. In room D of the museumsquartier we had a discussion to work out the difference between our community currency Gibling and Bitcoin.
  • We realised that blockchain is a construction of truth and a past in a digital world. It is therefore essential for a digital reality.
  • We started Ghostradio to question time and the analogue space. In the 2013 setup, there was an RF image feedback via transmitting and receiving antennas in the room as well as an analogue tube camera and an analogue monitor.
  • With the Infolab of the Stadtwerksatt, nature was also integrated into the design of our spaces as an information carrier of evolution.
