Until the end of 2018, the tank port was a STWST location for the installation of containers. With the rental of the Kunstlager Nord this place was abandoned.

Need and idea of this storage place and the container was: On the one hand, storage space is necessary to have resources for creativity. Such places can also be described as technological biotopes, which are filled every year by the projects of Stadtwerkstatt. On the other hand, it was interesting about this storage model that containers are a counterpart to architecture, as they do not convey anything new through their visual appearance. More important is what happens in, with and around the containers.
