Ars-Electronica & Klangwolke (1984)

The installation created for the Ars Electronica Festival in the foyer of the Brucknerhaus served as a kind of Trojan Horse for some of STWST's artists after the festival - for a musical attack. At that time, a concert was held for the “Klangwolke” in the Brucknerhaus, in front of a select audience, and broadcast live in the Donaupark and via ORF-Radio-OÖ for the common people. The activists of STWST were on the media stage in between.
From up there they could hardly have been removed and certainly not stopped. The concert in the Brucknerhaus could not begin because the noise could be heard well from the media stage into the large hall because of the sensitive microphones which were necessary for the live broadcast. This delayed the start and the experimental music of STWST was briefly made accessible to a broad and select audience. Our goal was reached and we retired to the roof of the Brucknerhaus to enjoy this major classical event.
