Miriam Helena Vellacott is a „butoh-mime“, explorer of physical expression and existence, gained a Professional Diploma in Dramatic Corporeal Mime as created by Etienne Decroux and performed with the l’Ange Fou Theatre Company. In search to rediscover the authentic body and ancient connection with nature, she studied butoh dance and philosophy with Anita Saij at the Nordic School of Butoh. Other interests include puppetry, fooling, Russian clowning, unconventional performance spaces. Miriam Helena Vellacott lived in Finland and lives currently in London.
