All Day: International Trans★Feminist Digital Depletion Strike
On March 8, servus.at will participate in the International Trans★feminist Digital Depletion Strike. This is part of the protest against the Big Tech Cloud and a process to see this as part of broader socio-political struggles.
On this day we will try not to use, not to feed and not to supply the cloud of the Big Tech companies. The strike calls for drastically reducing exploitative digital services and instead generating a plethora of collective forms of organizing. We are joining the historical traditions of international feminist strikes, as this struggle stands for the struggle for labor and supply,for anti-racism, for queer life, and for trans★feminist techno-politics.

Emancipatory Weekend. On Fri, the 10th, Johanna Grubner will first read about Affidamento from Female Positions. Then EsRAP will play as a role model of resistant pop art with a migrant background.

Affidamento can be understood as a political practice of freedom - as appreciation and translated as trust, entrustment, guarantee and warranty. The approach was developed by feminists from Milan around the bookstore Libreria della donne di Milano and conceived as a political practice of female freedom. It goes back to the difference feminist reflections of the French philosopher and psychoanalyst Luce Irigaray. Alliances, appreciation and admiration among generations of women, support of the feminine of authority and value, and relating to one another, togetherness, are central to it. The article on Affidamento appeared in the book Female Positions.
Johanna Grubner, born in 1984 in Vienna, has been a university assistant at the Department of Social Theory and Social Analysis at the Institute of Sociology at Johannes Kepler University Linz since 2018. She is interested in a social theoretical perspective on gender relations and how to think about them in neoliberal capitalism.
